Nestled in the beautiful Armorique National Park and the Monts D’Arree, in Finistere, the Lake St Michel is 1250 acres and 7 metres deep of fishing Paradise. You will fish here in picturesque, tranquil landscapes, consisting of meadows and old peat bogs, which give the waters an ochre colour. The lake is 17 km in circumference, if you enjoy walking, cycling or just watching the wild life that the lake attracts, the Lake St Michel has it all! You can fish from bank or boat, but NO petrol engines. Trout are caught by all methods, fly, spinning and bait. Bag limit is 3 fish per day. Pike are of considerable size, one caught recently at 1.15 mts long! 2 rods per person, one static and one fly or spinning. Wading is possible. Perch and Carp also inhabit the lake.
